Our Story
Introducing Hazel & Rosemary: Micro Bakery & Kitchen. Named after my two grandmothers. Hazel, my maternal grandmother loved to feed people. She could create a hearty meal with simple ingredients. She loved on people with food. Whether it was her cookie jar that was always full, or her root cellar full of preserves, her powerful Caesar salad, or her fresh pancakes. I have so many memories of visiting her old farmhouse and the pride she took in showing us her canning. This is a picture of me as a young child as she taught me to make bread. Rosemary is my paternal grandmother and she made the most delicious shortbread cookies and Christmas cake (that I appreciate so much more as an adult!). She loved to eat and appreciated tasty food. I wanted to honour these beautiful women whose legacy lives on through me and my love of feeding people and creating with food.
